DataQuant is an all-purpose, multi-platform Business Intelligence tool based upon Eclipse and available on all IBM servers.

DataQuant provides creation rapid deployment of intuitive dashboards, reports and interactive data visualization solutions across an enterprise.

• BI solutions are developed within a drag/drop graphical editing studio, based upon the award-winning Eclipse platform capable of running natively on z/OS, zLinux, System i, AIX, HP-UX, Linux and Windows platforms.
• End users access BI content using an ordinary web browser – no client-side software is required to be installed.
• Supports simultaneously drawing data from DB2, Informix, Oracle, SQL Server and most other JDBC-compliant data sources, as well as multi-dimensional data sources that support XMLA connectivity.
• Dashboards, reports and queries can be optionally embedded within custom or 3rd party web applications, portals or workstation applications.
• Includes direct support for Lotus Notes 8 composite applications, providing a means of directly integrating BI content within Notes-based solutions.
• Compatible with IBM’s highly successful QMF family of products and can optionally re-use existing QMF queries, reports and procedures or interoperate with existing QMF infrastructure.
• Version 1.2 adds support for multi-dimensional queries, reports and dashboard layouts, as well as enhanced interoperability with existing BI infrastructure and support for the BIRT graphical reporting format.
