 | V8.3.1 includes a client API set of component object model (COM) programming interfaces. They let you create programs to interact with the IBM® Document Manager library. Custom applications that use the client API can be built using any development tools that support COM, such as - Microsoft® Visual C++ 6.0,
- Microsoft Visual Basic, and
- Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (managed and unmanaged C++, C#, Visual Basic .NET, and so on).
- Microsoft VBScript is also supported.
The client API is provided as a single-user, single-thread, single-session mechanism for our customers, business partners, and others to integrate desktop/productivity applications with Document Manager. Multiple, simultaneously-active sessions, and a single session that drives multiple threads, are not supported |
