It provides a comprehensive Integrated Development Environment for edit/compile/debug of traditional RPG/COBOL/C/C++ i5/OS applications.

Supports the latest version of the IBM i5/OS operating system, Version 6.1
IBM® Application Diagram provides a graphical view of the different resources in an i5/OS® native application and their relationships to each other
Screen Designer is a technical preview that provides the capability to graphically design and modify the content of DDS display files.
Helps ease application debugging processes
Includes many capabilities previously only found in the WebSphere Development Studio Advanced Edition.
Requires significantly less disk and memory
