The Object REXX interpreter allows to write programs procedurally as well as in an object-oriented fashion. It is upwards compatible with classic REXX and consists of many programming interfaces to existing applications, such as DB2 or C. You have the ability to issue commands to multiple environments with a set of powerful functions all based on English-like commands. Designed for object-oriented programming, enhanced with full object orientation, you also can use Object REXX for conventional REXX programming. Our REXX API allows to develop external function libraries written in C. Included applications are developed mainly in C or C++.
