IBM® ISPF for z/OS® provides numerous technology and business benefits:

  • Applications can easily use the display capabilities of z/OS so that your developers do not have to write the display functions.
  • You can work with source code and data stored on a host.
  • You can track how all of the pieces of an application fit together—not just source, but objects, loads, test cases, documentation and other items.
  • The Client/Server component uses the workstation graphical user interface. Because of this, there is no requirement to change your existing ISPF applications.
