- The APL2 family of products consists of two products: Workstation APL2 and APL2 for S/370™ and S/390® Mainframes. Workstation APL2 runs on IBM AIX®, Linux™ for PCs, Sun® Solaris®,and Microsoft® Windows®. APL2 for S/370 and S/390 Mainframes runs on IBM mainframes with CMS or TSO.
- All of the APL2 systems permit transparent import and export of programs and data via the ")IN" and ")OUT" commands, and so allow for a high degree of application portability.
